After just appearing in court for the first time since his arrest and his case being postponed till his bail proceedings hearing on the 30th of May, 2019, there are now wide reports that Naira Marley might have been released.
A video has surfaced on the internet showing Naira Marley being congratulated by friends who came to pick him up in an unidentified black car from the premises of the Federal High Court in Ikoyi where he earlier pleaded not guilty to his 11-count charges.
If this report is true, this would totally negate the statement released by the EFCC social media pages that he would be remanded at a police prison until the next court hearing which is the penultimate day of the month of May, 2019.
Although there hasn’t been any official release from the rapper’s camp and that of the EFCC concerning his alleged release, but we will keep you updated when new reports come up.
