For over 6hrs now,a news as been scavaging the social media, especially What’sApp, about the Federal Government of Nigeria paying all citizens that sits at home during this outbreak a sum of eight thousand five hundred naira only(8500).
The post read this;
Alhaji Lai Mohammed said that it was fake and handiwork of scammers, the news being circulated on social media that the government planned to pay N8,500 to each citizen to stay at home for one month starting from March 30,” NAN quoted him as saying. Those posting it to you are scammers, they’ll put a link you’ll fill and then you Put your name,bank, BVN etc.. Do Not Click it.
If You do: your details would be sent to their Email and thats all
★ They have access to Any money in your account.
★ They could Scam people with your details and you’d be the one to Suffer it.
★ They’ll monitor your account and Help you transfer it to their own account or withdraw it..
