Before I go ahead, I will like to tell every upcoming artistes out there => Don’t rush yourself, take your time and you will get nothing but the best.
Here’s what really happened, read along.
LIL FROSH
In October 2019, News broke out that Lil Frosh and Zinoleesky was about to sign a record deal with AMW (Aloma Music World) belonging to one of Davido’s boys who goes by the name Aloma.
Luckily, Zinoleesky rejected the offer and he remained unsigned. Guess he saw what we were seeing at that point. He even said:-
” I don’t want to be signed to a Label and continuing jumping bikes and going out with Taxify”
Lil Frosh at the other hand got signed to AMW (he was told the newly floated label was in affiliation to DMW which belongs to Davido).
Life Under AMW/DMW For Lil Frosh
A week after signing the deal, Lil Frosh alongside Zlatan, Davido and many DMW crew stormed Dubai and everything looked so glamorous already.
In fact, Davido did some things for Lil Frosh that we really think are unnecessary but in the end we sensed he was doing them just to “pepper” Zinoleesky and make him feel bad not to have signed alongside Lil Frosh for AMW.
At some point, Aloma even posted that he’s getting a Toyota Venza for his Artiste but as at the time of putting up this post, nothing of such has happened.
Currently, Lil Frosh has released two songs under AMW, “50 Fifty” and “KoLe Re Body” featuring Mayorkun.
Forget about the “50 Fifty” music video that had almost all DMW crew in it including Davido, all just hype to make Zinoleesky regret not signing and make Lil Frosh felt he has arrived.
Another collaboration with Mayorkun on “Ko Le Re Body” is a disappointing track that reflected the fact that DMW is not an ideal place for a street artiste like Lil Frosh.
Zinoleesky’s one song, “Caro” under Marlian Music is far better than Lil Frosh‘s entire music career under AMW/DMW.

We all got to know him after he dropped a Freestyle video on Instagram alongside Lil Frosh, and boom, it became viral.
You won’t be wrong if you say Lil Frosh brought Zinoleesky into the Industry because we got to know Zino after we all accepted Frosh, they blew the same way at the same time interval.
Despite the fame and the hype, this young lad still didn’t get carried away, he knew what he was what he wanted.
Zinoleesky believed in his craft and he stayed true to the hustle, he kept dropping jams upon jams and getting featured which eventually pay for him.
Few months after rejecting the AMW/DMW. offer, he got signed to Marlians Music and he made the announcement on his Instagram page.
The World was anxiously waiting for what his growth would be like under Naira Marley, knowing how huge Zinoleesky has grown all by himself without the help of anyone.
Many predicted he will battle with the likes of REMA and Fireboy under Naira Marley’s label.
Life Under Marlian Music For Zinoleesky
All he needed was a fair record deal where his talent will be adequately rewarded with a serious plan for his music brand.
He was patient for the right opportunity to come and when the right deal came with Marlian Music, he grabbed it.
Facts from our close source made it known Naira Marley signed a 50/50 deal with all his Artistes signed under him (wow, right?, NM is the best I swear to God).
Few weeks later, he dropped “CARO” featuring the Marlian music honcho Naira Marley himself and the story changed already.
“Caro” tore charts apart immediately after it was released while also getting lots of positive reviews from fans nationwide.
This happened not because Naira Marley was on the song, but because Zinoleesky was able to beat all expectations with the song, it went on to become a hit song without so much hype.
It is safe to say that Zinoleesky has become a better version of himself under Marlian Music.
Naira Marley saw the massive acceptance of Zinoleesky‘s new song under his label and he was wowed at the outcome, he immediately hit the producer up to get another song recorded for the new starboy on the block.
Now, can’t you see there is joy in being patient? and it’s interesting how the one who laughs last is laughing best now ?
