OAU Shut Down School As Instructed By The Federal Government To Prevent The Spread Of Coronavirus

Obafemi Awolowo University has obeyed the Federal Government directive to pack up the varsity amidst Corona Virus fear.

This was obtained via a text sent by the Chief Security Officer of the varsity instructing all students to go away the hostels and head back to their respective homes.

Recall that OAU had said before FG’s directive that it wont shut down but that it would review the directive position from time to time.

All students are expected to leave the School today while the school had promised to allow Buses into it to avoid a rush.
