The Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU) Plateau State University Bokkos chapter today Monday December 20, declare an indefinite and comprehensive strike.
This resolution was made today at the University after meeting of the union.
While making the declaration the ASUU chairman of the institution Dr. Monday Hassan says the strike is indefinite, total and comprehensive.
The reasons for the industrial action according to Dr. Hassan is as a result of the inability of government to meet the terms of agreement on issues contained in the memorandum it signed with the union.
You will recalled that the State government earlier this year sign a MOA with the union before it’s suspend it’s 7 weeks strike in March.
