Davido And Wizkid Finally React To Nigeria’s Proposed New Name “UAR” And Twitter Ban

Popular Nigerian artists, Davido and Wizkid have finally broken their silence regarding the “UAR” name proposal and the Twitter ban in Nigeria.

Social media users and fans, who have been waiting for both celebrities to air their opinions on the current trending issues in Nigeria, took to different social media platforms to call the duo out after Wizkid and David were spotted on Instagram promoting their music and side hustles with none mentioning the issue going in the country.

Some moments after calling them out, both artists took to their social media handles to render their own voices to the ongoing issues in Nigeria.

Reacting to the newly proposed name “UAR”, Wizkid via his Instastories asked the “UAR” government for the way forward following the recent Twitter ban.

He wrote; “UAR, na so the thing go dey sup?”

Davido, who has always been vocal about Nigeria’s discouraging politics and currently not in Nigeria, took to Instagram to lament over Twitter’s ban. He revealed that his Twitter account stopped working moments after he tweeted about Nigeria.
