Multi-platinum selling Nigerian singer, songwriter and music producer, CKay is gearing up for the release of his next single titled ‘Watawi’.
Watawi will feature Davido, Focalistic and disc jockey Abidoza from South Africa. The record covers a common topic in modern relationships – “WATAWI / what are we?” CKay, Davido, and Focalistic make it clear to their respective ladies that no labels are required for what they are.
The forthcoming single is scheduled to be released on the 17th of June and will be the “focus” track until the new CKay album arrives in September this year.
The song will serve as a follow up to “Emiliana” which was recently certified platinum in France after selling over 150,000 units.
Finally, Since his global breakout with the hit record Love Nwantiti, CKay has been on the road performing at different concerts in various countries. He graced the Coachella Festival with a stellar performance back in April.
